Radiation Dose Limit
Radiation workers और general public के लिए maximum permissible dose (MPD) limits तय की जाती हैं ताकि radiation exposure को safe level में रखा जा सके।
ICRP (International Commission on Radiological Protection) के अनुसार:
Occupational Workers: 20 mSv/year (average over 5 years), maximum 50 mSv in any single year
General Public: 1 mSv/year
ये limits stochastic effects (like cancer) से बचाव के लिए बनाए जाते हैं।
